I am a hardworking, reliable and motivated student going into my second year studying Fashion Image Making and Styling at the University of Salford. I am seeking a job to work alongside my degree, with flexible availability. I have valuable previous experience in Customer Service, I believe communication is key in order to provide the best service. My previous jobs and my current degree have increased my confidence and enabled me to gain experience in dealing with different types of situations and people. My personal goal within my degree and work is to develop and learn which I can do efficiently and quickly. I am an organised, tidy person and prepared to work long hours whilst picking up new skills.
I enjoy art, fashion, photography and travelling, I am interested in experiencing other cultures and meeting new people.
- Last Summer went on a two-week charity trip to Uganda, where I helped to teach children and to give aid to them. I fundraised for two years to be able to afford it and to help give resources to improve their schooling. We built fences around their school, which provided more security and was able to buy them equipment and books. I think it is important to go outside of your comfort zone and to give back where you can and being mindful of other people.
- I have experience with working alongside brands in terms of collaborations to get experience. I work along Elsie and Fred a fashion brand and I have recently had some of my work published in The Face magazine online. I collect photography books to inspire me.
- I have had to come up with campaign ideas for new seasons for Outfit and some of which was featured in the company magazine and in one case on the Instagram page. This is something which made me consider my course at university.
