I'm a creative and focused Development Producer/Executive who has gained commissions across popular factual, specialist factual, factual entertainment, events and the premium documentary space for UK and US channels, SVODs and online. With a journalism background, I'm keen to showcase diverse storytelling and am also able to demonstrate a knowledge of the commercial aspects and returnability of programme ideas. I'm always striving to be ahead of the curve when it comes to trends and like to stay on top of industry news and commissions. I've got strong commissioner relationships stemming from an entry role in BBC Factual Commissioning and know the the process of what's needed to actualise a commission.

I've got experience in gaining access to a range of hard to reach institutions and organisations, as well as building rapport with experts and contributors, including those in vulnerable situations. I like to make my work stand out, writing succinct copy and designing compelling and accessible treatment decks and sizzle reels that are pitch and presentation ready.

I freelance as a development consultant and content producer for numerous production companies, including writing for podcasts and well-known brands. I've recently expanded into scripted content with a slate of my own writing and co-developments with up and coming writers.
