I would like to register my interest in the London-based Social Media Executive vacancy at TOAST, as listed on creativepool.
I'm a bright, articulate and creative graduate with excellent people skills, a flair for writing and a wealth of exposure to the digital sphere. Some of my previous employers include online giants from a multitude of industries such as Microsoft, Net-A-Porter and Expedia. I'm presently craving a fresh challenge, ideally in a content related role within a strong element of social media management.
As a Content Manager at Go Native and a senior member of the marketing team, a key aspect of my job is to produce content not only for the Go Native website, but also for our properties' pages on numerous online travel sites such as Expedia, Booking and Orbitz. This entails writing engaging property, apartment and neighbourhood descriptions that accurately reflect the agreed tone of voice, writing guidelines and SEO strategy. Additionally, I source and manage the company's digital imagery. This requires me to schedule property shoots, select the best quality images and then retouch as well as resize photos before uploading them on to the site.
Part of my role also involves supporting the management of various social media platforms. This includes contributing towards the strategy as well as executing the daily content delivery to sites such as Facebook and Twitter, and to a lesser extent LinkedIn and Instagram. Besides regularly promoting our growing property portfolio as well as sharing industry news, our current social media strategy is also heavily centred on London where most of our serviced apartments find themselves. In doing so, we aim to be regarded as a reference point for what is happening around the city e.g. stylish bars, trendy restaurants and ongoing cultural events of interest. This approach falls in line with the 'selling the neighbourhood' concept that is at the heart of the company's message i.e. don't just stay in our apartments, 'Go Native' and explore your surroundings.
I would relish the opportunity to discuss the aforementioned position at TOAST, and I hope that my CV will provide you a fair indication of my credentials.
Many thanks and kind regards,
