ABOUT
Ballantine’s Prestige x Ggotggozi: The Art of Simplicity
Ballantine’s are well known as the leading blended scotch in Korea. However, the Korean market is shifting towards Single Malts, which carry quite different expectations among drinkers.
Rooted in Scotland’s whisky heritage yet mindful of Asia’s deep cultural appreciation for craftsmanship, we introduce Ggotggozi—a concept inspired by the elegance of simplicity and the profound connection between humanity and the natural world.
Ggotggozi, the Korean art of minimal floral arrangement, reflects a philosophy of balance, harmony, and refinement—values that resonate throughout the Ballantine’s Prestige collection. Each drop of whisky embodies the same meticulous attention to detail, honouring time-honoured traditions while embracing the purity of flavour.
Through this collaboration, we celebrate a shared ethos: the belief that true artistry lies not in excess, but in the mastery of simplicity. Ballantine’s Prestige and Ggotggozi come together to craft an experience that transcends cultures—where heritage meets modern sophistication, and where every sip tells a story of elegance and transformation.
