ABOUT

The Molecules is a high-rise ensemble of three distinctive towers (residential, hotel and commercial) directly on the River Spree in Berlin-Treptow, next to the landmark Molecule Man sculpture. The project combines urban density, a waterfront location and contemporary urban development.

Concept
gmsvision accompanied the entire visual process, from the first façade studies to the final animation, for the design phase, the competition and international real estate marketing. In the early planning phase we explored different material and geometry variants through detailed façade studies.

Execution
We produced photorealistic exterior renderings focusing on proportions, lighting atmosphere and the towers' relationship to the Spree, as well as interior visualizations of penthouse apartments with river views and sunset terraces. An architectural film combines 3D animation with real footage, using dynamic camera movements to present the towers and their direct access to the river. VR applications, 360° panoramas, cinemagraphs and photomatching complete the package.

Results
The visuals served sales, public relations, investor communication and competition use, giving every audience a consistent picture of the project.
