Environmentally-friendly packaging design for the OceanSaver pod capsules, with special emphasis dedicated to the look and feel of the design, complementing the other branding material as well as the use of negative space to create a high-end, clean look and feel.

As with the rest of the OceanSaver creatives, I wanted a very clean aesthetic for the packaging - again emphasising the brand ethos of being clean and reducing waste. The approach for everything was less is more. I wanted to allow each of the designs the room to breathe by using ample white space, and the packaging was no different.

Before working on the final packaging artwork I set about designing a mock template that I would use to ensure the dimensions and design looked consistent and best represented what an actual packaging design should look like in terms of artwork layout and composition.

I created several vector-based illustrations to use on the packaging, again, keeping with the theme that was used in the social creatives.

The biodegradable and lab-tested icon was designed to show that the product had been tested to be non-harmful to the environment as well as being able to degrade over time, so as not to create plastic waste.
