ABOUT
The project brief was to create a magazine or rebrand one. I decided to pick The Economist as it is a very text heavy and complicated for the younger generation's appeal. I want to promote to the younger audience that we should keep ourselves updated with serious new stories. Whilst we are very digitally connected to the 'cloud', many of the target audience still prefer a physical book than an digital device to read a book on. I wanted to create a news magazine that was almost opposite to the Economist in the sense it's younger, more playful but keeping in touch with the serious news topics. Instead of text heavy articles, I made the magazine illustration heavy and the least amount of text as possible.
