When Scott, Sofa Magic’s owner, came to us in the first half of 2019, they had dated branding. The company had contracts with a couple of large hotels and a few interior designers, but what they actually wanted was leadership in the premium soft furnishings market.

The Challenge
Sofa Magic had big gaps in their branding strategies; a lack of brand aesthetic, an outdated website, an obsolete social media presence, and no direct-to-consumer sales within Bristol.

The Project
We saw a huge opportunity to rebrand Sofa Magic as a premium company by promoting its high-quality and handmade products. Furthermore, we built a full website, an SEO landing page for bespoke bay windows in the UK, as well as established a robust social media presence.

On the branding front, Global Bay spent 2 days creating visual content to reflect Sofa Magic’s expertise in building soft furnishing for awkward spaces. An interactive online design process allowed customers to experiment with fabric swatches, which enhanced the user experience.

The Results
Our Bristol-based team successfully positioned Sofa Magic as a premium brand through website redesign (which generated 3.5x ROI of enquiries during the first month), social media campaign (which resulted in a 900% increase in Instagram followers), and SEO landing page (which reached #1 position on Google).
