About me

Giulia Flamini is an Italian art director, graphic designer and illustrator based in London.

She graduated in 2009 in Visual Communication and Editorial Design at ISIA / Advanced

Institute of Artistic Industries - Urbino, Italy. After her degree she started working for FAO

(Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) formatting more than 100

country reports and at Cristina Chiappini Design Studio in which she developed professionally.

In collaboration with Cristina Chiappini and Limiteazero she received two European Design Awards

for the category Book Cover.

She has been one of the two art directors of the Mucchio Extra, a biannual music magazine and Illustrator and Graphic Designer for Mucchio Selvaggio Magazine.

She has gained experience in data visualisation and infographic in London, working for Raconteur a premium publisher of current affairs and special reports on business, finance, tech and healthcare.

Currently she is working as Senio Visual Designer for Nucco Brain a visual storytelling studio specialised in animation, VR and 360 videos.

One of her main features is curiosity and fascination with everything that can be developed

and investigated. In her field she applies this approach to the challenging idea to expand informations

and contents from paper to technological device.
