About me
Gino Montalvo is a self-taught motion designer hailing from Manila, Philippines. His ad career began in Starcom Media as a planner for P&G hair care brands Pantene and H&S, Lacoste and Hugo Boss fragrances before the itch to have more creative control beckoned him to leave the TARPs and the Nielsen indices to start from scratch as a post production noob at Bigtop Media Productions.
Over the past eight years as an independent creative, he has dipped his feet in almost every part of the production pool. Production Assistant, Design Intern, Voiceover Artist, Motion Designer, Choreographer, On-cam Talent, Director, Video Editor, Dancer, Producer. You name it, he's probably been in a project as one of these deranged folks.
As of late, he's finally narrowed it down to Director, Motion Designer, and Editor. But that doesn't mean he doesn't get to bust a few dance moves or voice a few lines of script whenever he can.
