I am a graphic designer, researcher, and educator based in Lubbock, Texas, where I serve as a research professor at an R1 institution. Born in Autlán de Navarro, Jalisco, México, I root my design practice in geography, language, and cultural memory. My expertise spans branding, editorial design, typography, and illustration, with work presented nationally and internationally. In both studio and classroom, I approach design as a critical practice—one that bridges craft and culture, connecting languages, geographies, and communities while honoring the past and imagining new possibilities.
