ABOUT
Should I get a dog? Maybe a cute little labrador pup.
Or the sweetest pit bull with a dot on one eye.
But my house isn’t that big…
Maybe I’m more suited for a cat.
A majestic Maine Coon to spoil.
Or a gentle Persian.
It would match my laid-back personality.
But I do love dogs…
What other breeds are there?”
Sounds familiar?
That’s often how people decide which pet to get. They get so caught up in breeds that they rarely consider adopting a “random” soul in need.
Unfortunately, breed often becomes the main factor behind the choice of a companion animal.
But what if we told you that you could have many breeds combined in one dog or cat?
For World Stray Animals Day (04.04.26), the Greek Ministry of Interior challenges the way people perceive animal breeds with a series of minimal, design-driven visuals featuring irresistibly cute dogs and cats, with a twist.
Each visual breaks down the breed percentages a stray animal might carry in its genetic background, turning what many see as a disadvantage into their greatest strength.
Because mixed-breed pets don’t belong to just one breed.
They belong to many.
And trust us. Once you adopt them, they become 100% yours.
