ABOUT

Bebu & The Magical Dragonfly is a children’s picture book for ages 4 - 8, following a young boy, his stuffed lion Daniel, and a magical dragonfly named Apion on a colourful adventure.
As the illustrator, I developed the recurring characters and their magical world, focusing on personality, expression, emotional connection and character consistency throughout the story.
From initial character concepts through to the finished illustrations, my aim was to use expressive characters, imaginative environments and colour to bring the heart and magic of the story to life. This book was written and illustrated in memory of Andrew (Bebu) who sadly passed at the age of 3 and a half years old
