ABOUT

The concept was to create a final project of choice. As my passion is film, I chose to write and direct a short film following the idea of video games crossing over into the real world. Taking inspirations from films I've watched previously such as Pixels, Enchanted, and Ghost in the Shell, I decided on a mixture of live action and visual effects.
The project involved mainly live-action filming, as well as some visual effects and motion graphics. I was the writer, director and editor, so I had the sole role of shaping my story.
The film was screened at the BFI at Southbank in June 2019, and earned me a 1st on the project.
