Tod Seelie is a photographer whose images “elevate mere weirdness to a more striking realm of visual intrigue” (New York Times). Prestel Publishing wanted a book to showcase Seelie's work; his photography looks at New York in a visceral, impactful and honest way. The cover design is bold and expressive, very much direct nod to Seelie's work. The book was selected as one of the "Best Photo Books of 2013" by TIME Magazine, as well as making it on to New York Magazine's Approval Matrix.
