About me

I am writing to you to inquire about the possibility of employment as a Retoucher as I believe that I have the necessary abilities and experience to make a positive contribution to your company. My prior experience at CWA Studios working with Advertising Photography and producing the in house Digital Manipulation, makes me an able worker who can produce results of a high standard and in a minimal space of time. During the last 3 years I have gained a plethora of experience in post production and have provided finalised images for companies including JWT, TMA Marketing, TMP worldwide and Barkers. High profile work includes retouching the Shell 'Optimax' advertisements, the 'Hotel Chocolat', the Yonex 'Colin Montgomery' advertising campaign, the Metropolitan Police recruitment advertisements and the British Airways on-line advertisements. Most recently I have produced work for the Argos Christmas Catalogue which has required me to ensure consistency of colour and file-size. As a result of working with such eminent companies I am confident in liaising with clients and am well-accustomed to working in a high-pressure and deadline-orientated environment. From working on such projects as these I have gained considerable experience in all manner of post production work, from retrieving raw captures to archiving the finished product. I have used a variety of software including Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator on Macintosh OSX.
