The concept behind the shoot was fairly simple - to recreate the 70s disco era in a bright colourful way whilst conveying the 70s vintage vibe.
Shot in a studio against coloured paper backgrounds I used a simple light setup that maintained light across the model but created shadow on the background when I needed it. Additionally for the 4th look, I used red and blue coloured gels to add more punch to the image.
The resulting edited images have a definite 70s vibe about them but with just a little bit of a modern twist
