ABOUT

This Project was mainly to push my design skills. I had decided to create a bicycle frame and in the end I created two frames and one full blown bicycle. You will no dought notice that this bike is more of a miss mash of parts such as the racing wheels usually found on a velodrome track bicycle and the front fork suspension from a mountain bike again this was to push my design skills more then anything. Once I had done all the research I had needed with regards to the frame itself, this was mainly to do with the length of the frame and how far apart each section should be. It was time to creating the first frame originally a simple 2D line drawing and then created into 3D it was soon joined by a second frame which would go onto be created into a full blow bicycle. Once I was happy with the 3D frame I then added the initial 2D layout for the bicycle this makes a good way to visualise how the layout of bicycle will look before converting it all into a 3D model. The next shots (Six onwards) are of the rear and font gear sections along with a chain and peddles. The last few shot are of the complete bicycle before it was fully rendered and the background was added. This ended up being a wooden fence so the bicycle had some thing to lean on as it looked rather lonely just standing upright all by itself as well as a gravel path complete with fields either side and a blue sky back drop.
