About me

My name is Gemma Louise Brotherton and I am Freelance Journalist/ Copywriter based in Leicester. My specialist field is 'fashion' and 'vintage fashion' and also travel. I have successfully covered many other topics for various publications.

Currently, I supply short and long copy to various local fashion and lifestyle magazines in the Leicestershire area. I have attended clothing launches, major UK fashion events and catwalk shows in New York and Los Angeles in 2006, showcasing new collections.

I am also studying a Freelance Journalism course from home, through The Writers Bureau College of Journalism and also work for a teaching agency in my spare time as well, as I love children!

I am seeking a new challenge, a new full time position offering me fresh and interesting projects to work with, where I can display and further develop my writing talent. I consistantly aim to further my writing techniques and broaden my Journalistic skills! This position is exactly what I'm looking for.

I am a down to earth, fun loving girl who has a strong passion for writing. I am dedicated & ambitious and I feel I would be your ideal candidate.
