ABOUT

I was first inspired for this collection by the effect different scenarios and people can have on our unique emotions. I focused on the word ‘Jouissance’ - which means an intense and overwhelming feeling of joy, delight and pleasure, to the point in which it can become painful. I researched into risk and vulnerability, beauty and power, the joining of two beings, as well as two opposing emotions and conflicting positions which within close proximity seemingly grow and evolve into an newly developed entity.
