The brief for this project was to explore space themes as requested by the artists, tying in the albums concept of having a trap door that was able to transport the characters into different surroundings, such as the moon.
The inspiration behind the style of illustration was using the essence of the 'Ligne Claire' drawing style, popularised by well known cartoon, Tin Tin. The style uses clear lines and only using minimal detail and making good use of negative space.
