Dear Sir/Madam.
I would like to apply for the position of Junior User Experience Designer within your company.
I am a 35 year old creative individual who has a great passion for art, painting, digital design, IT, playing music, and over the past 5 years, I have developed a huge interest in designing my own apps and games for mobiles and tablets.
Having successfully worked in Optics for the last 9 years, I am extremely keen to now pursue my real passion in life and dedicate myself to a new career in digital product design.
I began developing my own apps 5 years ago having become fascinated by the ever growing demand for online gaming and the rapid change in technology. My passion for art and design combined with my skills in IT provided me with the perfect platform to begin my self-education towards app design.
Whilst I don't have the specific industry experience to date, I am a highly motivated individual who has the drive and dedication to learn and develop new skills, which is already evident through the creation of my two successful apps available on the Apple App Store, and Google Play store.
I have an excellent eye for detail, fantastic communication skills and the willingness to learn new things. I adapt well to new environments and enjoy working within a team. I am also able to perform to deadlines and work on my own initiative where required, many skills that I hope I can bring to your company.
