About us

I've worked on some of the biggest brands in the not-for-profit sector for more than 20 years as a graphic designer and creative director, and led creative teams across design, editorial, copy and production for Christian Aid and Shelter. I've also designed work for the British Red Cross, Asthma UK, the Directory of Social Change, the Anthony Nolan Trust, Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Sense International and AMREF Health Africa amongst others. I have an extensive network of excellent designers, copywriters and production managers, which means I can take on projects of any size.

My expertise is in:

• Creating effective community, appeal and events fundraising materials from proposition through cross-channel concept work to delivery. I've worked on fundraising projects from small one offs to some of the biggest charity appeals in the UK, including leading on the concept, design and production of Christian Aid Week seven times.

• Brand development. I love getting to know what an organisation, appeal or campaign is about – its history, values, aims – all the things that make it tick. I then use that research to make sure that your visual and verbal expression really fits your business and helps you to grow. If you think that your brand could work harder, or you want to start something new, please get in touch. From a simple logo to a full visual identity system to a comprehensive brand architecture, 15 North can help.

• Publishing – designing any form of longer document such as annual reports, policy reports and membership magazines.
