About me

Over 19 years brand consulting, strategic planning, and consumer research experience. 16+ years experience in digital research & planning. I like talking with people and have been doing so in the service of growing businesses since 1998. It began with my role as a design anthropologist, followed by work in strategic planning for some big ad agencies in SF, Chicago, Indianapolis, and Kansas City. Over the years my curiosity about what makes people tick has been the cornerstone of my work.

I've moderated focus groups and conducted ethnographic studies for a very broad range of products, services and industries including consumer packaged goods, B2B, healthcare, education, and financial services.

Areas of expertise: focus group moderating, IDIs, shop-alongs, in-home observation, ethnographies, online bulletin boards and live groups, UX testing, user research, campaign and platform development. Start-to-finish project management including:

- Recommendation and development of research methodology
