In late 2014 we won Take Note Typing as our very first client! Take Note is an audio transcription and note taking company, offering their crazy, fast and accurate typing services to their clients in the media-, film-, medical- and market research industries. Our journey with Take Note started with a simple logo redesign job, but luckily it didn't stop there - we ended up planning and executing a full re-branding for them, and we also used our UX and UI expertise to help them with redesigning and rebuilding their website, client facing portal and internal typist app. We started with a thorough brand analysis and did extensive competitor research to see how Take Note could be defined and distinguished from their competitors. These also helped us to highlight the key strengths and core values of the company. After defining the key attributes of the company, these were used to create an important part of the foundation of the new brand. These very core values we also used to redefine the user experience of the new digital products. The product redesigning process started with thorough UX research; we then followed up by discussing Take Note`s marketing goals, and the key interest points and values of their clients and online users. We created personas, user stories, information architecture, which we followed up with wireframes and designs. We used Invision to put interactive prototypes together, which were then polished to perfection, and used these to design the beautiful layouts and UI elements.
