As part of our MA Illustration group, we each created a screen-printed banner for the 'Folk For Folk' exhibition at the National Waterways Museum, Gloucester. This celebrated the museum's own folk collection and the creative art and crafts of the narrowboat people through arts and crafts of various groups in and around Gloucester, England.
My first attempt at screen-printing -- quite the learning process! Planning my idea from sketch to print on to calico banner, celebrating the everyday, highly-decorated water vessels used on the boats.
