ABOUT

I stopped at a beautiful field of sunflowers on the way home from the Georgian City of Bath one weekend, just off the main road to where I live. I loved the contrast of the bright coloured sunflowers against the sombre blue/grey sky. I was quite a windy day so the flowers where being whipped back and forth quite violently - not the usual calm heliotropic motion that they were used to. Oil on canvas | 800 x 800mm
