About me

I'm Franklin Walters, animator, illustrator, and pie enthusiast. Thanks for visiting my profile.

My animation work is informed by my previous experiences as a theater actor and designer, which taught me a lot about collaboration and maintaining a sense of humor.

I learned to animate the traditional way, frame by frame, by making a stack of drawings or moving a puppet and clicking a shutter. Now the drawings are made mostly in Photoshop and the puppets are rigged in After Effects or Cinema 4D, but I still strive to maintain the human touch in my digital work.

I've made videos for brands and organizations large and small, on projects from concept to completion, as a solo act and as part of an ensemble.

My wish for you is that today includes a slice of your favorite pie (pizza does count.)
