ABOUT

This is my self directed graduate project. It is a wireless speaker which is aimed at children aged between 11-15. It focuses on user interface and utilises the internet without having the distractions of social networking sites. Completely reliant on Wi-Fi it is a product which anticipates the future, the concept is backed up by a separate research project which predicts that we will no longer need dedicated hardware to power our media and networking gadgets.

A speaker however, still needs physical components to drive the sound so I took the opportunity to develop an exciting form which would appeal to young teenagers. I chose this demographic because I found that they hold the most potential in the wireless technology market.
