How bad do you want it? Born in Oporto, Portugal, Mauro Gonçalves is a true example of how willpower and motivation are the first step to success. Since childhood he loved to watch fights on TV and to imitate his favorite fighters. His first experience with martial arts came at age 11 when he began to learn kickboxing. Later he started practicing muay thai. Since 2005, he dedicates all his time to Brazilian jiu-jitsu and MMA (Mixed Martial Arts).
