Cosmetic surgery is becoming much more popular. In fact, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, in 2018 almost 18 million people had cosmetic procedures in the US. Surveys showed that it is widely linked with lower self esteem and life-satisfaction in people. So, with this imagery, I wanted to show that by changing or enhancing features takes away the beautiful, precious and unique qualities we are born with.
