ABOUT
????️ Wilhaggin – Sacramento, California ☀️
Been a bit swamped lately, so I haven’t had a chance to post one of these in a minute. So, here goes!
The community of Wilhaggin has about 150 Streng Bros Homes, along with a lot of other cool mid century modern homes, built after its establishment in 1962. Many of these Strengs were built using slightly altered plans, based on requests made by their initial buyers to meet their unique needs. This neighborhood is also home to the first atrium Streng, and the only steel-framed house they ever built.
As always, you can see one of my MOD-icons (minimalist illustrations of MCM houses), a Minimalist Neighborhood Map, and an artistic mockup of a Historic Home Plaque. These are all available for reasonable prices, with quick turnaround, and are fully customized to your home.
Also, here’s a bit of history I found fun: the name “Wilhaggin” is a portmanteau of Williams (after the initial developers, Frank and Steve Williams) and Haggin (after JB Haggin, who owned a world-renowned race horse breeding ranch here in the mid-19th to very early 20th centuries).
