‘In the studio with…’ was a fourteen-part video series that offered a snapshot of life at Foster + Partners, showcasing a range of roles, including architects, motion designers, modelmakers and landscape designers. It also provided employees a platform to reflect on their work, interests and journey through the industry.

Campaign aims:
· Inspire a younger generation, particularly those entering the industry or changing careers
· Highlight the practice’s interdisciplinary nature and the services it offers
· Attract new talent, by creating connections between the audience and employees
· Showcase the range of backgrounds and nationalities of people working at the practice
· Spotlight the work of younger employees, who are starting out in their careers

The campaign was published across YouTube, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, our website, and intranet.
We received positive feedback, especially from younger participants, who felt valued and appreciated. Several new starters commented that it helped them understand the value that different teams add to projects.
The choice of roles and people was carefully curated to reflect the diversity of the practice’s workforce. Some members said this reinforced a sense of belonging and positive representation.
This was echoed by our external audience, with parents of children remarking how wonderful it was to see people of diverse backgrounds working at one of the UK’s largest architectural practices.
