Design LSC were commissioned to translate this to designers through a guide book. We set about presenting the information in a simple presentation, using a coding system for distinguishing each foil type - Metallic, Pigment, Pattern and Holographic. Our intention, to assist designers throughout the selection process by providing them with the correct amount of technical know-how when choosing Foilco colours, finishes and effects for their branding applications.

Foilco strive to inspire the use of their most varied and diverse range of stamping foils. They continually publish books that assist you with your choices and guide you through the correct use of grades. This First Edition of the Foilco D4 Foil Grade Guide provides an indispensable overview of their extensive foil grades, and provides designers with useful tips on how to get the best results when using Foilco foils. The book also features a host of beautifully shot images which capture the nature and delicate beauty of Foilco foils. The images were printed in four colour process and are entirely in Stochastic, using a randomised 20 micron dot.
