Annie Lane produce beautifully made scents for the home from precious ingredients they source from exotic locations in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America. In contrast, these colourful fragrances are tempered with a cool palette that is more reminiscent of a fine English country home. The logotype and monogram in Buttercup Yellow is foiled on to Fedrigoni Materica Ardesia, a paper that is deep in colour and has a slate-like finish. Ardesia, meaning 'slate' in Italian, is inspired by the fine split finish of its namesake natural stone. This contrast gives this collection an intelligible quality seen through its design simplicity and use of fine materials. ‬
