Mar Fresco (Fresh Sea) is a Portuguese based company that sells frozen fish and seafood; they wanted to release themselves from their out-fashioned image and stand out from their main competitors, looking for a modern and fresh redesign of their old logo, maintaining the shrimp in the company’s image. A cursive font was used so as to resemble the movement of the sea waves, and the ligament between the two words draw the silhouette of the shrimp in-between. - Actually, I left this logo on my portfolio as an homage to my early years as a graphic and brand designer, as it was my first commissioned work, done as a college project back in 2010.
