About me
Flora Yin-Wong is a London-born writer & former editor. Having started out in an editorial role at Dazed & Confused Magazine in 2009, she focused on curating & commissioning online content for Dazed Digital.
She has been commissioned by print publications such as Monocle, AnOther Magazine, TANK, Vice, Riposte, Material Girl, INDIE, Under/Current, and Once Studios, to luxury in-house publications by Soho House Group and W Hotels.
For digital, she has contributed to sites including Resident Advisor, Boiler Room, Highsnobiety, DUMMY, dis magazine, Magnum Photos, Phonica and Juno Plus. Whilst focusing on music, art and fashion, she has also written science blogs, and several reports & case studies for insights agency Canvas8, specialising in the luxury market, emerging subcultures, and Asia.
As a copywriter, she has been Senior Editor and written for the likes of Magnum Photos, Browns Fashion, Swarovski, Emporio Armani, Topman and GAP, to more independent fashion brands like Paris's Noir Noir to record labels inc. fabric's Houndstooth, PAN, and for video treatments.
Her short fiction pieces have been published online by Somesuch Stories.
