The brief
Chlöe Howl is a Brit nominated singer-songwriter with bags of attitude and sass. Whilst she was renowned as a pop princess in 2014, she is now repositioning herself to appeal to a more current audience. Therefore she needed an EP cover creating to roll out over Spotify, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. The artwork needed to be on trend, whilst remaining fairly neutral which would leave room for manoeuvre later on. The desired effect would be to have a design that could be applicable to numerous songs, whilst only having one word differ.

The result
Much of this project was based upon Chlöe rediscovering what she did and did not like in previous years. After discussing the direction that she might want to go in, I began to visualise the designs which allowed us both to see if it were the right approach for the job. The concept went from 60s optical to gradient centric, minimalistic and image heavy.
