The idea behind the app is to reduce the need to throw away excess produce.

The problem being that many local growers don’t produce enough to sell to the public but too much to consume themselves.

Many organic or home grown products don’t look as perfect and haven’t been treated therefore don’t last as long as shop bought mass produced.

With these issues in mind the app allows a swap or sell option. Users are able to swap their produce with other members nearby so that no produce goes to waste.
