About me

I currently work to my own initiative as a freelance content producer / writer. My past experience as a trained journalist has contributed to the high standards of content output I am able to produce.

English is my native language and I have experience writing content for beauty brands, lifestyle and many others.

My writing skills are excellent and my style is adaptable to suit the publication I am writing for. I pay close attention to tone and grammar and carefully edit all pieces of my content before I submit or upload them.

Along with excellent writing skills I have a strong eye for selecting relevant imagery. In previous roles I have been responsible for sourcing / taking images to accompany my articles. I have relevant Photoshop skills to support any necessary editing of images.

I am passionate about working collaboratively and in a small team. My communication skills are exemplary and I am able to clearly convey my ideas and receive ideas in a productive way from my team.

I am a natural for spotting up and coming trends. My presence online and my inquisitive nature means I often read, hear or discover new trends before the masses.

I have worked on numerous different CMS and I am confident in my ability to quickly learn new software, new CMS and in the past I have even taught myself HTML to create a better aesthetic for my content.

My current freelance work has allowed me to gain new skills and the ability to work proficiently and independently to agreed targets and deadlines.
