About me

. I am a highly motivated, enthusiastic Applied Art Graduate, who is hardworking and committed as creative and productive. I am a team player who is aware of their personal strengths and desire to develop. I currently work part time for a leading high street retailer and as I have just finished university, I am planning to take my career in the 'design world' further.

As part of my degree, my work consisted of experimenting in silkscreen printing, digital print and stitch. The concept behind the pieces I make is 'beading a bit of glamour into peoples lives'. I print images on to plain simple fabrics of normal working class people, and then beaded certain parts of their uniforms. I currently took part in the New Designers show in London and am going to take part in the graduate embroidery guilds 'Knitting and Stitch' shows in London and Dublin.

I feel that I attempt every task that I am set and achieve the goals given to me. I have basic skills with dyeing (although I am an extremely fast learner), also have knowledge of screen printing and Photoshop.I really enjoy working within a team and am extremely capable of working alone. I have found that my creative degree and personality has given me a great base to start from.
