The Ode to Troublemakers is rooted in Madiba’s birth name, Rolihlahla, a name that literally means troublemaker.

This film celebrates bold action and the courage to make good trouble. From Madiba’s generation to today’s young and old changemakers, it brings past and present together to remind us that progress has always belonged to those who refuse to stay silent and choose justice over comfort.

Working with Madiba’s own historical archive, we crafted a bold visual language through design, editing, and animation, transforming memory into movement and legacy into living action.

Long live the Good Troublemakers.
