SUPERBO™’s most important project was to reinvent in a cultural pole an old, abandoned and debris filled factory in Calabria (Italy). We called it exCOMAC.
In 1930 exCOMAC was a quartz refinery and many years later in 1980 it became a timber company known as CO.MA.C. This is the reason why we called it exCOMAC. exCOMAC Grand Opening was 1 July 2016 with THE ENLIGHTENMENT,
a light installation by the artistic collective Quiet ensemble that was found in 2009 by Fabio Di Salvo and Bernardo Vercelli.
n 60 days exCOMAC hosted 30 events like MARE MARE Festival, CIBO street food festival, many different artists such as Massimo Sirelli, Cesare Citriniti, Ray Oranges, Jonathan Calugi, Quiet Ensemble, a lot of concerts and Dj sets.
