A Man with Many Hats and You Need Both is a book combining two narratives; the importance of Ben Barker, a community volunteer largely involved in his local area and an investigation into the Conservative government’s initiative the Big Society focusing
on its affects on the voluntary sector. It was awarded International Society of Typographic Designers membership with merit through the student assessment scheme 2013. It is also shortlisted for the British Book Design and Production Awards 2013, Best Student Book.
