About me
Fanny Cabanne is a passionate advocate of design as a powerful lever in corporate strategy.
After a childhood in Africa and teenage years in the USA, she studied humanities, management and languages in Paris, Oxford &Berlin.
Fanny then joined some of the best design and strategy consultancies: Continuum Innovation in Milan, PDD and Plan Strategic in London; working closely with multinationals (Samsung, Roche, Coca-Cola, Mars, Nokia, etc.), as well as start-ups and inventors.
Her role has ranged from multi-sector business development to complex account and fastpaced project management, and from managing people and organisations to developing and implementing growth strategies through design.
She joined Dassault Systèmes' Design Studio as Senior Specialist for Strategic Planning, Insights & Innovation in 2013. Dassault Systèmes provides businesses and people with virtual universes to imagine and implement sustainable innovations, and the Design Studio acts as a think tank, working on pilot projects with designers and architects.
Fanny has built relationships with a large international network of business partners, design practitioners, innovation thought leaders and design institutions. She regularly curates B2B&B2C events, ultimately aiming at the recognition of the value of design and designers for business and society.
