About me
Fanny Beckman is a London-based portrait photographer who uses image-making to raise awareness of social injustice, with a clear focus on equality and sustainability. She was four years old when she got her first camera and ever since, photography has been an important part of her life. She studied Fine Art Photography at Gamleby School of Photography in her home country Sweden.
Since 2016 she has freelanced as a photographer and public speaker and has collaborated with various organisations such as Canva, Smile Train, The Guardian Labs, Levi's and The Prince's Trust.
Via public speaking, she raises awareness of the male gaze and the importance of scrutinizing photography in order to improve the media climate. Furthermore, she helps brands diversify their marketing, for example, she had a talk at Triumph's creative conference on the importance of using a wide range of models and the impact it has on potential clients.
Fanny Beckman is available for commercial assignments and portrait shoots, whether that is headshots for your company, capturing beautiful sustainable clothing or portraits for your acting career - please get in touch to discuss your idea and pricing.
