The brief of this project was to create a ‘quick guide’ of my choice, as well as a proposal for a series. As brunch had grown in popularity since the pandemic, I decided to create my series about Brunch spots, each book focusing on a different city. I tried to keep the design simple yet fresh, with clean typography and bright pastel colours. One of the main challenges of the project was navigation; one of my solutions was to create a 'key' which is shown at the top of the restaurant pages, they represent whether the restaurant offers bottomless brunch, outdoor dining, wheelchair accessibility or serves brunch all day. I also used a colour scheme (different shades of blue/green) to help represent each part of London.
