The brief was to create an image that expressed the ethereal beauty and innocence of newborn life. The goal was to craft a visual that felt both emotionally comforting and artistically refined—something timeless yet imaginative. The parents envisioned a serene and symbolic setup, centering on themes of purity, love, and gentle beginnings.
I began by designing a set that echoed softness—using a fluffy, heart-shaped prop to represent love surrounding the child. The choice of a neutral beige background ensured that all focus remained on the baby’s expression and the subtle textures of the wrap and surface. Natural, diffused lighting was key to enhancing the delicate details without overwhelming the serene mood. The baby was carefully posed with safety and comfort as the top priority, using gentle transitions and soothing techniques throughout the shoot. Post-processing focused on preserving skin tones and elevating the dreamy quality of the scene without losing authenticity.
