On 19-21 July, IP Key Latin America held the Enforcement Week: Seminar on Border Enforcement in Mercosur. The hybrid event, held in the Triple Frontier Argentina-Brazil-Paraguay, discussed challenges for implementing effective intellectual property protection and enforcement measures in border trafficking in Latin America. Among other activities, Experts from the European Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights shared methods and tools that are used in the European Union, as a way of pooling experiences and creating global collaboration.

At the beginning of July 2023, IP Key LA also inaugurated its office at the National Institute of Industrial Property, Ministry of Economy, for the implementation of projects focused on Mercosur (Southern Common Market).

Our task, as an agency was to promote the work IP Key is doing in Brazil and the main points discussed during the event, as well as the importance of the cooperation with UE.

In total, we achieved 329 pieces of coverage - 39 articles (between digital and print versions) and 290 radio broadcasts through RadioWeb, pitching the content in Brazil and Argentina.

To start strong, our strategy was to offer an exclusive interview for Valor Econômico. As we know that this type of media tends to need more exclusivity, we started our strategy with this first move, which led us to generate other organic coverage as well. After the publication of the exclusive, we started pitching to a broader press list in Brazil and Argentina and could secure top-tier publications such as VEJA, SBT, Infobae, El Cronista and Ámbito.
