ABOUT

Working with e-Residency since 2021, we brought on board several different strategies to promote the program in Brazil, where digital nomads were a growing tendency with the pandemic.

Starting with a press conference, we could get the attention of tier 1 media journalists in early 2021, when we announced the launch of the e-Residency pick-up card location opening in the centre of São Paulo - the first in South America. Before that, South American e-Residents would have to travel to Portugal or EUA to finalize their admission and to get their card. We secured coverage on Estadão, Exame, Folha de S. Paulo, and others.

Following that, our next strategy was to foment a community in Brazil. To get together with potential Brazilian e-Residents, discuss possibilities, technologies available, etc. So we turned around to the tech, innovation and startup hubs boiling in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Florianópolis. We understood that after 2 years of the pandemic, in-person contact was important, so we executed our first community event in 2022 in those cities. The success was so big that we repeated the cycle in 2023. In the meanwhile, we didn't stop the proactive generation of content with the media and were securing spaces in CNN Brasil, O Globo and Bloomberg Línea, for example.

To elevate the experience, in mid-2022 we promoted a press trip to Estonia so journalists could see with their own eyes the innovative and technological environment the country has to offer. The agency secured the presence of one journalist from Pequenas Empresas & Grandes Negócios, and another one from CNN Brasil.
